Obverse: Images of
gold coins Manas -1000, Osh -3000,
silver coins Manas -1000, Khan-Tengri, Arkhar and Edelweiss with
inscription of 10 som at the top. The coins images are connected by
stylized image of the Kyrgyz yurta (юрта- dwelling place or homeland)
main element tunduk. Tunduk ( түндүк) symbolizes unity of the people of
Kyrgyzstan and contiguity of
generations.
Reverse: Emblem of the Kyrgyz
Republic with a white falcon, the rising sun over a lake sourronded
by the shoots of Ala-Too with an inscription 10 years of the National Currency in Kyrgyz language.

Obverse: Images of different
epochs of the Kyrgyz statehood formation and development . The Tiger
Head Decoration was found near Barskaun village and was dated 5th to
2nd centuries BCE. Image of Turgesh coin dated 8th century.
Burana Tower, the unique historical and architectural monument of 11th
century of the Great Silk Road. Image of the flag of modern Kyrgyz
republic. The inscription 10 som on the top right.
Reverse: Emblem of the Kyrgyz
Republic with a white falcon, the rising sun over a lake sourronded
by the shoots of Ala-Too with an inscription "2200 Year of
the Kyrgyz statehood" at the top and the year of issue of the
coin '2003' at the bottom.
